Not long ago, the Sun Sentinel wrote a great article detailing some of what service means to Welcome Back Home Care. We still hold it to be one of out guiding principles. We know that all the time, love, patience, and honesty we give to our clients, caregivers, and community will only help us help you. It’s a virtuous cycle we love to be a part of each and every day! 🙂

“‘This is essentially a service business and our level of service is a game changer in the health care industry. I’m here to provide comfort, service and familiarity,” said Berkowitz, who has been known to drive clients to doctors’ appointments and routinely check up on all clients and his staff. “Each employee that comes onboard with us is heavily screened and we make sure all their license renewals and records are up to date.’

Throughout Hurricane Irma, Berkowitz planned to call and check on clients. He delivered water to those who needed it before the the storm.

Staffer Shamelia Fisher said she’s impressed with the way Berkowitz leads the company and takes care of his clients.

‘Lee really runs it like a family,’ she said. ‘And you have to really love seniors to be in this business, and our clients are fun.'”
