“My moms getting up there in age and has dementia.
Mom lives in Florida and I’m in Massachusetts.
It’s difficult, especially when you’re so far away to take care of your parent when they get up their age.
At this time I’m not able to make a move to Florida and mom loves Florida and her house, she doesn’t want to leave.
So, what do you do?
I call “WELCOME HOME CARE”
I spoke with Claudia and she explained what services they offer. We spoke for awhile, she made me feel very comfortable with my decision to have someone come in part time.
Everything worked out great with moms new caregiver. She takes care of mom, moms thrilled. We had the caregiver there five days a week, 6 hours a day. This was perfect and working out so well.
I have piece of mind and I don’t worry (as much) (She’s my mom, I’ll always worry 😊)
The dementia had gotten worse and now it’s time to speak with Claudia about the next step. 24/7 help for mom.
We’ve just celebrated one year of 24/7 live in assistance for mom.
The caregiver was the perfect match for my mom, she is now a family member. 😊❤️

Claudia, in our many discussions we’ve had, you always made me extremely comfortable and you assured me, you don’t just send anyone, you send someone who is a good match for the client, that would be their personality and needs (of the client)
